Uses of Januvia 100mg : Januvia 100 mg Tablet is an antidiabetic
medicine used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat type 2 diabetes in adult patients.

Type II Diabetes Mellitus

Contraindications of Januvia 100 mg: Allergy 

Dosage ::
Missed Dose : Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it.
If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose.
Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose : Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Interaction with Alcohol :Interaction with alcohol is unknown. It is advisable to consult your doctor before consumption.

Interaction with Medicine:
Clozapine, Acetazolamide, Gaftifloxacin, Benazepril

Disease Interactions :


Pancreatitis : This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a
known history of pancreatitis due to the increased risk of recurrent pancreatitis. 
Renal Dysfunction : This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a
history of kidney diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. 

Warnings : This medicine is not recommended during Pregnancy and Lactation.

General warnings:

Use in children:  - This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. 
Bullous pemphigoid: -This medicine should be used with caution due to the increased
risk of bullous pemphigoid, a hypersensitivity reaction of the skin. 
Diabetic ketoacidosis: - - This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known
history of diabetic ketoacidosis due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. 
Type 1 diabetes mellitus:- - This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.

How it works ?

Januvia 100 mg Tablet increases insulin and lowers glucagon production. This results in lowering of the blood glucose levels.
